In the society nowadays there are more and more complex situations that creates also more complex clients that enter our practices. Everything around us, is speeding up and that creates also more superficial relationships, there is an absence of intimacy and mirroring and on top of that the lack of boundaries. This creates a new generation who don’t know exactly who they are. They search more on social media for the need of being mirrored and that makes it worse. The newer generation is also more sensitive and more open and therefor more willing to be available for covered needs.
In this module we will work with the family history and how your sensitivity is created, we will pay attention how to protect this sensitivity and how to use or not to use your antennas. We will look at the differences between healthy and distorted Narcissism and what the pitfalls are for a therapist in working with a Narcissistic client.
We will do the same in looking at Borderline clients: what are the pitfalls and what kind of approach or treatments can you use.
For the understanding of this kind of clients, we will look at their history and development of the Ego and the Self. In understanding where these clients suffer from it will create more empathy and an open heart although you will be tested. Above all of this; working with these clients asks of the therapist the willingness to stay genuine. You need to be very clear and sometimes strict in giving healthy boundaries, that creates more trust and reliability.
Postgraduate Program
The collaborating European Core Energetics institutes offer masterclasses that are open to alumni and graduates of all Core Energetic institutes worldwide. These masterclasses provide the opportunity to deepen and improve your skills as a Core Energetics therapist by working on the respective topic in its content as well as in its emotional dimension. Leadership skills are also refined and strengthened. Successful participation of five different masterclasses is one part of a Post Graduate Training, which includes two more elements: a postgraduate project and a presentation of about 60 minutes.
Teacher
ANNA TIMMERMANS is director of Netherlands Institute of Core Energetics (NICE). Since 1982 she is a methods teacher and has her own practice. Anna is certified by the European Certification of Psychotherapy. She followed the Bio Energetics Analysis training and is trained in Core Energetics by John Pierrakos. She is co-owner of Cordium, center for growth and development in Nijmegen. Anna teaches also at other institutes, like in Mexico, New York and California. Her passion is to train Core Energetics therapists and to make Core Energetics blossom in The Netherlands and Europe.
