Can you ever really know for sure? Mentally? No. From memory? No. But your body knows. You started life with two or more others in the womb. Not that you know, but you felt it. Another heartbeat, another body being formed, energy, connection, all next to you. And then all of sudden it went away, gone. Forever.
You made it alive. They didn’t. A deep loss where life began. A loss that you carried into your life. You notice how you unconsciously search for something, somebody, you want to feel whole again. That deep connection that life doesn’t seem to offer, but you are convinced it must exist.
You have started life with a loss. This is a wound and it is often not recognized at all. We call it today a pre- or perinatal trauma. Research just started and knowledge is growing of the effects of the trauma.
In this workshop we will work with the cellular and physical memory, to feel, connect and acknowledge this very early wound. To grieve, accept the pain and also to enjoy that unique connection. To also let go, to make space for a reconnection in a different way, becoming whole again.
In this workshop we will connect in this very early experience that you experienced alone. Being seen and received there is a deeply healing experience. You will feel and experience layers of yourself that you never felt before so deeply. You will gain much more understanding on your own relational patterns, and get the opportunity to change and heal painful and negative beliefs on a fundamental level.
Having lost your first love and having survived yourself as the only one, often feelings of guilt and distrust are present. We will invite you to make a journey from No to Yes for yourself and your life. You were not alone. You are not alone. In this workshop we will make a field together full of love, understanding and acceptance for ourselves, each other, and our lost siblings.
We, Evelien Bus and Meis Thewissen, are both experts by experience. We are body-oriented (psycho)therapists, trainers and teachers. Based on our knowledge and experience, we would like to invite you to embark on a three-day journey to find the answers in your body that your head keeps asking you.
Dates and times:
Saturday, August 23. working hours: 10 a.m.- 9:30 p.m. (lunch and dinner included)
Sunday, August 24, working hours: 9:30 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. (lunch included)
For students from NICE this workshop counts for 5 therapy hours.
Costs: € 425 including 2 lunches and 1 dinner, coffee and tea and friandises. Dietary requirements are taken into account. The venue (Cordium) offers simple possibilities to stay overnight.
