Human sexuality touches every layer of our being: body, mind, emotions and spirit. When these levels work together in harmony, we feel a sense of wholeness, joy and the vibrant aliveness we all long for.
But for many of us, this connection is blocked.
We’ve grown up with shame, guilt or fear surrounding sexuality – messages that labeled it as “dirty” or “inappropriate.” These internalized beliefs act as saboteurs, keeping us disconnected from our natural pleasure and from our ability to fully engage with others – and ourselves.

ANNA TIMMERMANS is the founder of Netherlands Institute of Core Energetics (NICE) and for many years, till June 2025, she offered her leadership to the school. Anna is certified by the European Certification of Psychotherapy. She followed the Bio Energetics Analysis training and is trained in Core Energetics by John Pierrakos. Anna taught also at other institutes like in Mexico, New York and California and all European institutes. Her passion was to train Core Energetics therapists and to make Core Energetics blossom in The Netherlands and Europe. Nowadays she only teaches at NICE, gives only two workshops per year, has some supervisees and teaches Masterclasses in Europe and Montreal. She will educate and support junior teachers and train supervisors.
