Postgraduate Masterclass: Embodied Relationship, with Marcia & Brian Gleason

Working with couples can be both extremely challenging and incredibly rewarding. The Embodied Relationship Training will teach practitioners a unique approach for engaging the cocreated body/mind relational system. The committed relationship offers a profound opportunity for individuals to discover their highest selves. Unfortunately many couples fall into very limited styles of relating that stifle their potential. In The Embodied Relationship Training participants will learn how to support couples in not only breaking through protective patterns, but also how to use their relationship as a catalyst for bringing forth what each person is capable of. In other words, the relationship itself is a change agent for supporting the highest potential of each person.

Areas to be addressed include:

• Learning to help couples identify exiled parts of the self as an essential component to connection.

• Exploring the shared energy field.

• Understanding the role of the vagus nerve in a relational context.

• Developing the “meta-skills” of Presencing, Empathy, Humility, Curiosity, and Intuition.

• Becoming “trauma sensitive” with self and others.

• Working with emotional “triggers” as trailheads of transformation.

• Working with protector parts.

• Navigating the road from protection to connection with the “Full Self Expression Process.”

• Recognizing young demands and lower self from a place of kindfulness.

• Understanding how to work with conflict using our five stage process.

Developed by Brian and Marcia Gleason, CSW’s, The Embodied Relationship Approach brings together Core Energetics with other therapeutic and wisdom modalities. They have been working with couples and groups for over 35 years and have offered their training program in the US, Europe, Mexico and Canada. Marcia & Brian have authored two books together, Going All The Way, and Exceptional Relationships.

All participants need to have completed the Core Energetics 4-Year Training Program, or have another certificate in a body-oriented psychotherapy modality.

Participating in this masterclass counts for the Postgraduate Program.
