The Relational Self: Staying True and Staying Connected in Authenticity

NICE WEEKEND WORKSHOP
Do you ever feel you have to choose between being honest and staying connected?
Or that part of you wants closeness while another part needs space?
This workshop dives right into that tension.
Over the weekend we explore authenticity, truth, will, and the courage it takes to be seen as you are. Using Core Energetics, we work with the body, emotions, and energy to uncover the patterns that shape how you relate—and how you can move toward more connection without abandoning yourself.
You’ll experience the movement between dependence, independence, and the vital space in between: interdependence. This is where relationships stay alive, where freedom and closeness can coexist. It’s about the courage to let yourself be seen in your humanness—with everything that comes with it—and how that risk brings you closer to yourself and to others. The reward is a deeper connection.
No matter where you are on your personal path, this workshop encourages your next step. You’ll be able to join community events with the NICE students and faculty, giving you a real sense of what it’s like inside the school. You can engage in body work classes every morning and attend community events in the evenings, where the whole school gathers.
Expect a weekend that is inspiring, enriching, dynamic and energising—and one that supports you in moving toward more truth, connection, and aliveness.
Facilitators
FEHU FREYJADÒTTIR is a certified Core Energetics Therapist who has been working with people professionally for over 10 years, including running a professional therapy practice for the past 5 years. Her guiding philosophy is simple: the body knows. She accompanies clients in returning to their most authentic, natural, and sensual selves, following what the body reveals. She loves creating spaces where people feel permission to be exactly who they are, fostering deep self-expression and aliveness. She brings presence, openness, and a deep love for the wild aliveness that lives within us all.

BOUKE BROEREN leads from a simple principle: heart first. His trainings invite people to drop from the mind into embodied experience, where emotions can move, truth can land, and connection can emerge. As a Core Energetics therapist, he is known for his clear presence, grounded energy, and ability to bring lightness into deep work. He combines a gentle invitation with direct truthfulness and weaves bodywork, meditation, and a non-dual lens into an approach that is both precise and deeply human.
