Going to an unknown place as a therapist is very challenging. You will be confronted with resistance and the unconscious process of our clients. But the more risks you are willing to take, the more you will help your clients to take risks for themselves. This will take the work to a deeper level which is in the benefit of the client.

For whom
This Supervision Intensive is designed for certified body-oriented psychotherapists with at least one year of clinical experience, who want to participate in an exchange with other therapists.

This Supervision intensive will offer a loving and supportive space so participants will feel more courageous in making new steps and taking risks as practitioners in their practice. For every change there will be resistance and perceived danger and therefore fear. This is something we experience as human beings. It exists as long as we do. The question is: can you hold and contain your fear and use that energy in a more exciting and creative way.

The program
We will work for four days and do sessions with each other and be supervised. We will also bring clients from outside to have a new experience. If you have specific wishes or questions please make them clear in the enrollment form.

Anna Timmermans and Warren Moe
Anna and Warren are passionate Core therapists and trainers with more than 30 years of experience. Warren has been the director of New York Institute and Anna is the academic director of NICE. Together they have facilitated workshops and taught numerous classes together as co-leaders. Currently they have created a program to train Core therapists to become supervisors for institute students. This program will be offered to qualified Core practitioners next year.

Practicalities

Location
The location for the intensive is Cordium, a beautiful venue near the railway station and near the city center of Nijmegen. There is also a big garden were we can relax during the break.

Enrolment
Fill out the enrolment form and send it to Anna Timmermans. She will contact you.

Costs and payment instructions
Costs: 600 euro. Early bird 525 euro paid before February 28.
We will send you payment instructions when it’s time to pay.

Food
We will eat lunch and dinner together. There is a chef who will cook healthy and tasty food (vegetarian and fish) for us. The costs for 4 lunches and 3 diners is € 137,50, to be paid directly to the chef. If you have food allergies or medical diet restrictions, please inform the chef yourself. Staying overnight
In Cordium there are rooms to stay that are normally working rooms. You can have your own room or share with somebody. There are showers as well. You can bring your own sleeping bag or hire sheets and towel at Cordium, (costs 15 euro). You pay 15 euro a night. When there are enough people to stay the chef will also provide breakfast for 7,50 euro.

How to get to Cordium from the Railway Station Nijmegen
You walk from the railway station to the right. Follow the red bike lane. (But watch the bikers! So don’t walk there but on the pedestrian lane. You will be not the first foreigner that will be hit by a bike.) After a small tunnel underneath a road you go to the left. This is De Ruijterstraat. You will find Cordium 400m further on your right. If you arrive the night before we will arrange that you can come in.
